Peter June Simon opened up B-MEG's scoring in the second, making a tough one-hander over a larger defender in Dillinger. James Yap continued with his strong performance in the second quarter, adding 12 markers to his seven-point first quarter performance.
Ryan Reyes tried to sparked TNT's offense, scoring six straight points while Castro added another two from a lay-up to cut the B-MEG lead to nine, 39-30, three minutes gone in the period.
The Tropang Texters continued to pour it on as Donnell Harvey and Ryan Reyes scored five more to bring the lead down to four, 39-35. Denzel Bowles tried to stop the bleeding, scoring a put back from a JC Intal missed three-pointer. After a completed steal by Reyes, Dillinger sank a jumper to further cut the B-MEG lead.
Yap refused to be denied, scoring four points, a technical free throw and a long bomb from way beyond the arc, to bring B-MEG's lead back to eight anew.
Ranidel de Ocampo countered with consecutive treys to put Talk 'N Text within two, 45-43, with less than three minutes left. A Harvey putback, with 30 seconds left, cut B-MEG's lead to one (48-47).
Castro, with still five seconds left in the second, hit a three-pointer to shove the Tropang Texters to a 50-48 lead at the turn.

A Jonas Villanueva floater put the Llamados within striking distance at 65-61. A Bowles putback ended the quarter with the Texters still on up, 67-63.
Villanueva opened up the scoring in the fourth with a three, cutting the Texters' lead to one. After an offensive foul and a technical foul from Jason Castro, Yap missed a free throw to cut the lead to two.

B-MEG coach Tim Cone, to combat their inside woes, put in Josh Urbiztondo and Ital to support the trio of Bowles, Yap and Simon. The group responded, with Yap and Bowles scoring two each to bring trim the Texters' lead down to single digits, 79-70.
The Llamados threatened for the last time on a Yap three-pointer, 86-78, with four minutes remaining.
But TNT won't be denied of the win as Castro and Reyes' back-to-back baskets gave the Texters the needed breathing room.
